EGL USA offers customers two-day shipping at no additional expense

NEW YORK CITY, November 13 - EGL USA has announced that all shipments from its laboratories in New York and Los Angeles are now two-day, due to an arrangement with Parcel Pro, a shipping company specializing in precious jewelry, gems and watches. The cost to its customers will be the same as normal five- to six-day service offered by UPS or regular mail, according to Shaindy Bodek of EGL USA's Marketing and Business Development Department. "We are delighted to offer not only the security but also the expediency that our customers want, especially as we come into the holiday season," said Bodek. EGL USA is absorbing the additional shipping costs as a benefit to their customers.

Parcel Pro, headquartered in Los Angeles with offices in San Diego and New York, is known for its risk management and shipping procedures that have proven to reduce losses, according to its Vice President Chad Clarkin. Shipping is done via Federal Express, and insurance is offered up to $10,000 on two-day delivery to EGL USA customers.
